‘another Part Of Me’: Persuasion In Parts
What is a part? If I say, a part of me wants this and a part of me wants that, what am I talking about? What are those things? Well, for one thing, it’s a way of talking about our experience.
What you need to consider, however, is that the words we speak are things, actual, tangible things, as real as the computer keyboard I’m typing on and the papers on my desk.
People fractionalize themselves into subsections when they have to say or do something that might be hard for them or a little uncomfortable. If this part of them doesn’t want your product or service, it’s that entity that is making the decision and not them, taking the responsibility away from them.
Fear not, however, because this fractionalization can most definitely work to your advantage. I love it when I hear a person say they have a ‘part’. When I know they are fractionalized inside, I can seize control of one or more of those parts and maneuver them with ease.
When I hear ‘part’ or a reference to someplace else within the person (such as the psyche, ego, id, unconscious), I know I need to make contact with that part and turn it into a good friend.
Parts are, for the most part, very outside of people’s awareness. They may surface and as they do, you can add or extend the parts, elaborating to give them more power, or you can minimize the part if it’s not working to your advantage.
In the process of this, and in life in general, take care that you don’t spllit yourself up into lots of parts.
A part is a frame, a frame that lives autonomously for the individual who calls it. You can create a part within someone else by naming it and identifying it. Naming and identifying is key here. If we name a part, we give that part power. And if we frame that part through the way in which we talk about it, we’re in control of that part to a large extent.
Parts give us leverage. We can assign an objection to a part and then we can assign another part to overcome it. We can assign a part that overcomes an objection with a part that objects, and we can blend the parts, watering down the part that has the objection.
When we pit their parts against each other, there are parts that can be superior, inferior, all knowing, or directly related to God. We can have problem resolving parts, negation parts, pessimistic parts and persuasive parts.
I have a part of me that really kicks butt in persuasion. I hope you will too soon if you don’t already.
Never Take Your Eye Off The Ball.
Too many people over think their current situation. They should be thinking about where they should be. They are so caught up in the problem that they lose sight of the solution. Prior to discovering Global Resorts Network and creating www.joecorp1.com, I was in the middle of a major market crash. I had lost over 66% of my total net worth.
You can’t get caught up crap like that. Acknowledge the problem, and turn your attention immediately to finding the solution. Come up with as many ideas as you can of ways to get the results you want. Write these ideas down – without judging them. Take the best ideas you have, and act on them.
Do not think about problems in terms of “how did it happen?”, “why did it happen?” or “what will happen if i don’t solve this problem?”. Rather, accept that you have a problem and a great challenge has been laid at your feet. Accept the challenge. Then look for solutions. Study possible solutions. Gather knowledge, and start testing possible solutions.
It is true: A few people are born to be successful. They possess some special talent that makes it easy to succeed – the gifted musician, the natural athlete, the talented business person. But the vast majority of people were not handed their success this easily. They worked hard for it. They set their goals and stayed focused until they reached them. www.joecorp1 is NOT a get rich quick business, you MAY get rich. It MAY be quick. But that depends on your willingness to work hard and your desire to succeed.
Focus and discipline are habits, skills that everyone can learn. I have always been disciplined and focused in everything i do, even since i was a kid. But i have met people who were not so focused and shown them how to learn the habits – to the point where one of them has become a successful armature athlete.
Worry, fear and indecision kill focus. To take charge of your life you must conquer fear. My advice is to simply zap every negative thought as soon as it shows itself. Stop the indecisive internal dialogue before it starts. The worst hell you can ever face is the hell you create in your own mind. it is much worse than the hell other people create for you. So instead of dwelling on all the negatives, think about what you want – Stay focused and go and get it.
Grant Application Tips For Success
The process of applying for a allow program, known as grantsmanship, takes real talent. It takes a lot of skill and hard work, and can cost serious time and money.
Here are a few of the main points you should think about when applying for a grant:
* Make a difference in your community.
The purpose of a grant is to provide benefit to a certain community. Keep this fact in mind before you approach the bureau with your allow application. Make sure that your project is able to help the agency improve the community. Your allow application must reflect the overall goal of your prospective funding source.
* Comprehend the goals of your funding source.
The overall goal of your allow is to make a positive difference in your community. There are also underlying particulars of your allow application. Take the time to visit the grant agency and talk with staff members about the details.
Ask if the allow bureau provides funding in your area. Some of these agencies provide grants to entrepreneurs who operate in a particular area. If you are one of these entrepreneurs, you may have a better chance of getting a local grant than a national one.
Also, the agencies may also tell you what institutions they grant funds. This type of information would be a great help in your allow application.
* Who will evaluate your proposal?
Is it a person who knows nothing of your field? Or is it someone who knows a lot about your field and what is going on? If they know nothing about your field, you need to avoid getting into the technical information that they might not comprehend. Write your grant application with their level of understanding in mind. If they’re familiar with your field, then it is acceptable to use more technical definitions. But the rule should always be to write clearly. Use jargons only when utterly necessary.
* Be familiar with your funding source.
You should know how to frame the information in your proposal. Confirm all of your statements with facts and show that you have a clear understanding of the need for the funding.
* Prepare a budget that’s simple to understand and clearly shows what you want to do.
Make your proposed as thorough as possible. Explain all of the projects that require funding, and include any match funding you might receive from other organizations. This will give the funding agency a clear picture of exactly what your proposal entails.
Don’t, under any circumstances, throw your proposal together swiftly and hope for the best. This tactic does not work, and agencies are able to see through the sloppiness right away. The proposal counts as half your allow application, and you have complete control. Take your time and do it right.
* Don’t invest a lot of money on an elaborate presentation.
It hardly ever impresses the funding agency. Never forgo the content of your proposal for style of the presentation. If you must spend money, spend it on the amount of planning you need for the project, not solely on presentation.
Amazing Tips For Creating Profitable Information Products! Part 2
In Part I, I told you why electronic information found on the web is superior than a book from a bookstore. New business owners are surprised to discover how easy it is to sell information products – it’s an astonishing way to make money online! In this article, I’ll give you five tips to help you generate profitable info products.
Tip 1: Think of what your customer is giving, and what he’s getting in return.
Your customer is making a trade, his money for your knowledge. Make it easy by offering your customers something truly special. E-books on making money are always popular, and many customers are willing to pay $47 for an e-book that explains how to make $4700, save $4700, or keep $4700 more of their income away from the tax-man.
I will also trade $47 for information that saves me 2 days learning how to do something. That is a no-brainer! I’m less prone to trade $47 for adorable stories, recipes or how to sew my own clothes. Get the picture? Make the trade very simple for your customer!
Tip 2: Clearly Explain the Benefits of Your Product
Think about what your customers really want, and how your product meets those needs. Include one of these “hooks” in your information product by filling in the blank to the following sentence: My product will help you to:
earn more money
save people money?
save people time?
prevent mental, physical, or emotional distress
If you can include one or more of these angles in an information product, you will have a real winner on your hands!
Tip 3: Turn One E-Book into Many Parts
Do you have a longer e-book, say around 150 pages? Find a way to make it into three shorter e-books of around 50 pages each. Your customers will get all the same information, but will get three books instead of one. That’s pretty powerful – they really are getting more for their money.
Tip 4: Include Bonus Material to Make the Package More Attractive
Satisfy the appetite of the most curious client by offering them more. Search out a handful of inexpensive informational products to include as bonuses. Now your client is paying $47 for three e-books, plus he is getting $500 in free bonus material. All he needs to do is provide you with an email address so you can deliver the bonus material – and you benefit from one more contact to add to your subscription list!
Tip 5: Do not Forget Your Early Clients!
Many on the internet business owners spend countless hours pursuing new clients. Meanwhile, existing clients might fall by the wayside. Don’t let this happen to you! You already have a loyal client base; now, it’s time to reconnect with them.
Your existing customers are part of your niche. Go ahead, ask them what they want. You will be surprised at the answers, and they’ll feel honored that you took the time to ask. Once you know, start to create products that fill their needs, the needs that they identified themselves. In no time, you’ll be the expert in your field!
No Momentum – Why People Quit.
When you begin anything you have no momentum – Writing one of these articles is a keen example. Nothing is happening. Words don’t flow. You want to halt at any chance you get. The WORST thing you can do is quit. If you quit, how will you ever finish? This is a major reason why so many small business people fail: Things don’t happen as fast, or as easily as they expected – so they quit.
Momentum works like this, you make the decision to start out. You’ve no contacts, no idea what to do, no idea where to go. You bash your head into a wall, posting ads, writing articles and whatever else you can think of – Nothing happens.
You keep going, you are building momentum with each new piece you get out there – believe it or not. Keeping at it makes people know that you’re not going to just fade away, like so many others. You are establishing your presence. Demonstrating your value – And people notice.
Then one day, you make your first sale. Then another. Then another. After a while you’ll have built up so much momentum that everything will happen in multiples – two, three sales one week, five or 6 the next. People notice your momentum and want to be a part of it.
You’re asking yourself; how can YOU establish momentum? The first thing you need to do is decide on a specific goal, something you have the ability to become very good at. Www.joecorp1.com has a nice financial goal, that’s within reach if you’re willing to work for it. Start your momentum rolling by becoming knowledgeable in your chosen field.
Getting a good mentor helps create momentum, too. Find someone knowledgeable about your field and make them your friend. Ask their advice. If you have a question about something you do not understand, ask your mentor. A good mentor is someone who gives opportunities, as well as challenges as teaching tools. We all need to know our weak spots as well as our strengths.
Momentum is like poker chips. You’ve to build more in order to stay in the game. The funny thing about momentum is if you stop, it will stop. So never stop challenging yourself – keep your momentum rolling.
4 Things To Look For In A Freelance Copywriter
If you are searching for a freelance copywriter to help you grow your business, you have a lot of choices these days. The market is loaded with them. So here are four things to look for to make sure you find the right copywriter for your needs.
Let’s jump in right away…
1. Communication – Working with a freelance copywriter who is able to communicate well is one of the most important traits you should look for. Without clear communication skills, your entire promotion could be doomed.
You need to find a freelance copywriter who is able to communicate with you, your employees and anyone else who can contribute to the success of the project.
Of all of the problems I have had in my own freelance copywriting business, EACH one can be traced in part to poor communication.
2. Accountability – If your promotion should fail, will your copywriter accept responsibility for his fair share of the result? Or will his first response be to point the finger at you, your product, your market or your business?
A good way to answer some of these questions is to interview potential copywriters about some of their biggest successes AND their biggest failures. How they speak about their failures will give you good insight into how they’ll react when things do not go as planned.
3. Marketing Mindset and the Capability to SELL – This is key. You need a freelance copywriter that knows how to sell. After all, that’s really what this is about. Selling your products and services to your marketplace.
So you need to know about their selling skills or selling experience. And the best way to get a glimpse of that is to pay attention to how they sell you to become a client.
4. Writing Skills – Of course your freelance copywriter should be good with words. But it’s not the most important thing to look for when you’re out searching for someone to hire.
After all, do you really want to work with a copywriter you cannot stand, who blames you when things go wrong? That is not a recipe for a profitable long term relationship.
Hiring a freelance copywriter can be one of the best investments you make in your business. Just get the information you need to make the ideal decision for your business and your needs.
Here Is How To Think Outside Of The Box
So how could one individual actually “think out of the box?” This ought to be done independently, but how? Here’s an illustration: Cut a cake into 8 cutting but you’ve got to make no more than 3 cuts. Most folks will experience difficulty mustering up a way to cut the cake. But to resolve this, you have have to alter the way you view the cake and how to cut it. One clear response is to slice the cake into 2 equal sizing and put the other half on top of the other. Cut it again in half then stack the other half pieces on top of one another and cut them again. There you go, that is thinking out of the box.
Another example of thinking out of a box is this: Here are four words… subtract, multiply, add, decrease… Now which one does not belong to the group? Mostly people would right away say that the word “decrease” does not belong. Why? Because all the other three words are mathematical jargons and the latter is not. Well, that’s not thinking out of the box, if you think out of the box, the answer would be the word “add” since it only has three letters while all the other have six and more. You could give a lot of right answers but the one that shows more creativity stands out.
It is interesting to see the prevailing component in that ways that are minds work placing a few changes from past processes and experiences. How about this example, you’re asked for two days that begin with”T”. Your reply would be Thursday and Tuesday. But what about Today and Tomorrow? Again out of the box thinking, right? Many companies when developing a new product or service seem to rely on past patterns. These patterns could provide as useful and helpful since they help finish tasks such as driving, eating or drinking. But, these are the same patterns that make it difficult for people to think out of the box and create substitute solutions to a dilemma especially when challenged with unwanted data.
One important move to break the pattern is trying to reverse patterns, designs or solutions and arouse new interest. Take thing as they’re and turn them inside out, upside down, or simply turn them around and you’ll be surprised with the result. This was Henry Ford’s personal experience. His conventional plan was to just “bring people to work.” He tried to change all this into: “bring work to the people.” This plan generated more revenues.
Another way to bring out other solutions to easy problems and situations is to not consider the subject. If you want to bring about something more creative, think not of the part of the problem itself, rather, think of people or subjects in motion and then use the abstract formation or design as a stimulus for a new design.
Do not be so shy that some of your ideas could be crazy enough to think outside of the box. This could transform any rigid thinking and the current way you do things into something maybe harebrained or irrational. By doing this it will give you more freedom to reinvent something and think outside that box in a manner you may have not seen before.
Trying to squeeze out the creativity may be difficult so try letting go of the question to release the stress associated with it. Once it is released, all of everything you’ve within you and the power of the universe should help you find a solution or it will come to you when you don’t anticipate it.
In real life scenarios, you could think out of the box for fun. You can apply fun trouble-making stuff without offending anybody by saying or doing the unforeseen. But be sure that you do this 1st to individuals you already know to avoid conflicts and negative confrontations. State, a chum asks for what time it is; automatically you’d view your watch, which is a effect of the stimulus-response theory. Thinking out of the box, why not state something crazy like, “Oh it’s time for a vengeance,” then head toward the door. Observe their reaction as they go in total confusion and trance as you’ve completely blended matters astir in their brains and interrupted their thinking pattern. (Don’t forget to say sorry later)
Thinking out of the Box or usually known as creative thinking attempts to project new and actually creative arrangement of components to produce a work of art. Being an out of the box thinker can be a rewarding profession. This is hazardous, but it could be one of your strengths in no time. If the herd is going to the right, you go the other way.
In your own way you could be a genius. Remember that. You know that your thoughts come from the deep reaches and you are clever enough to make a difference in the end. It’s wild sometime to think outside of the box and be creative, but improve yourself through growth and self development. You’ll notice that it will be more effortless to solve problems in the future. Let your new way of thinking be a guide to a new and improved life for you.
The Blame Game
“All blame is a waste of time. No matter how much fault you find with another, and regardless of how much you blame him, it won’t change you. The only thing blame does is to keep the focus off you when you are looking for external reasons to explain your unhappiness or frustration. You might succeed in making another feel guilty about something by blaming him, but you won’t succeed in changing whatever it is about you that’s making you unhappy.” -Wayne Dyer
Lately I have noticed a disturbing trend.
It’s not easy figuring out what is going on in the world. The media is NOT forthcoming for a variety of reasons. They say, they are just catering to what ‘the people’ want. Maybe. Maybe they’re just kowtowing to what their corporate sponsers want. Regardless, it’s hard these days finding news of substance, unbiased, that has nothing to do with celebrities or economic woes.
And the disturbing trend, specifically, is that “news casters” are really more “infotainers” and very engaged in the practice called “the blame game”.
What happens on the news shows is that within seconds of hearing a problem, the newscaster will ask, ‘Tell me something, whose fault is it that we’re in this situation? Who did wrong here? We need to figure out who to blame so we have the ability to either give them a token punishment or move on to the next issue.’
My guess is that in our era of 24 hour news on a multitude of stations, instead of actually reporting what might be happening in the world, they stretch the inane blathering of the hybrid newscasters/talk show hosts/cultural critics/morons. The non-stop static of their voices is sort of like adding bread crumbs to ground beef to make a meat loaf . . . It makes the meat seem more substantial.
At this point, the news is mostly breadcrumbs. And they’re stale. And the meat might be tainted. And I’m full. And I’m a vegetarian anyway.
And do not think I am pitting one station against another. . . they’re all doing it. With the one exception of Jon Stewart, whose comedy show transmits more actual news in 23 minutes than all the other stations combined give out in 24 hours, I am over it.
Our culture is so swift to assign blame without even attempting to assign solutions. When will we figure out how to get out of the messes we find ourselves in? Let’s change the frame around a bit and look at that.
Well, there aren’t very good ratings in triumph over evil. There are ratings in humiliation. There are ratings in searching for the bad guy and taunting him, but not in actually catching the bad guy and bringing him to justice. (I’m looking at you, Osama.) And whose fault is it that I selected to show the silliness of using blame to make things better by blaming them for the way they use blame.
Ppc & Adwords Management – Improving Ctr By 82%!
There are a number of strategies AdWords Management Professionals use to improve their clients’ performance with Google AdWords. Our experience has been that implementing just the small set of strategies listed below typically lowers our clients’ click costs by 37%, and increase click through rates (CTR) by 82%. Of course, many times the improvements are much greater than this!
1. Testing of Ads and Landing Pages
Your Ad and Landing Page should be constantly tested for possible improvements. Proprietary tools exist for ensuring stastical significance in the shortest possible time, so that your CTR and ROI can skyrocket rather quickly. The ideal Adwords Management Companies make daily use of these tools.
Now this can be time-consuming, of course. And this is why the smartest advertisers often select to outsource this laborious effort to a Management Company.
2. Proper Keyword Selection
Have you looked at the keywords being used by your top 5 competitors, as well as the top ranked websites in the organic search results?
Nearly all markets we’ve looked at are ideal served with keyword lists in the 500-5,000 keyword range. You’re simply missing some of the ideal traffic when you only use the most obvious 10-20 major keywords in your market!
Professionals often use proprietary tools to ferret out these keywords.
Likewise, you should be testing all 3 match types for each of these keywords, as they often produce vast differences in ROI (return on investment).
3. Adgroup and Campaign Organization
To get the best Quality Score and therefore lower click costs, adgroups must be tightly focused so that ads may be written for each specific type of keyword.
Now when you have a keyword list of 2,000 keywords as recommended above, it becomes quite tedious to develop almost that many ad groups and ads and landing pages to meet this stipulation. Again, that’s why smart advertisers are turning to AdWords Management Professionals to provide this service.
Getting the best return on investment also means adding conversion tracking down to the keyword level, as well as separate campaigns for the Content Network, and regular adjustment of bids.
Articles: Getting Them Read And Get Your Creative Juices Flowing
First off, articles have to be written to be read. It’s just a matter of making them good. Making a good article doesn’t have to be strenuous and straining. There are just some points needed to be reminded of, and some guides to follow. Once you get the hang of it, writing articles could be fun, as well as profitable for you and your site.
With article writing, you should use short paragraphs to keep your visitors interested. When the paragraph is very long, the words get jumbled in the mind of the reader and can get quite confused with too much to read. The reader will just swiftly disregard the paragraph and move on to much easier reading articles that are good to look at as well as read. So paragraphs can be a single sentence, sometimes even a single word!
You should provide a good attention-grabbing title or header. If your title can entice a person’s curiosity you’re already halfway in getting a person to read your article. Use statements and questions that utilize keywords that people are looking for. Provide titles or headers that describe your articles content but should also be short and concise. Use titles like, “Tips on making her want you more”, or “How to make her swoon and blush” .You could also use titles that can command people, for example, “Make her yours in six easy Ways”. These types of titles reach out to ‘a persons’ emotions and makes them interested in the article.
Get your creative juices flowing
Putting words into images in the readers mind is an art. A clear and crisp depiction requires a certain flair that only creativity can provide. Similes and metaphors help a lot, but the way an article gets entwined word for word, sentence by sentence then paragraph by paragraph into a whole article develops the essence of the article.
Keep a diary or a journal with you always. Ideas can be triggered by anything you may hear, see, or smell. Your senses are your radar in finding great ideas. Write all of them into a journal and keep it with you for future reference. You might also write down anything that you’ve read or heard, someone’s ideas could be used to develop your own ideas and this isn’t stealing. Remember that ideas and creativity can come from anywhere; it’s the development of the idea that makes it very special.
Go on a getaway and just do something unlike crazy. Letting yourself go and have fun produces adrenaline that can make your imagination go wild. Take an adventure or a solemn hike. Whatever it is that’s unusual from your daily routine can take the rut out of your schedule. In no time at all, your creativeness will make use of that experience and get your imagination to go on overdrive.
