Sending Mms Messages On Your Iphone
Once you get an Apple iPhone you will soon find that it becomes your most used electronic device. Since it offers features like internet access, the capability to play music and an intuitive user interface your iPhone is able to replace several different devices. Still, on top of all the other features it is still a cell phone and as such there as several things you would anticipate it to do in that respect. One thing that the iPhone promised before launch was that it would be very easy to send text messages and once you have used an iPhone you’ll see just how quick and simple it is.
However, if you’re used to being able to communicate to your friends and business partners through text and multimedia messages, or MMS, you may find yourself being extremely disappointed with the iPhone. The reason for this is because throughout all of the major improvements and better features of the iPhone, it still lacks one easy feature. This feature is the ability to send MMS text messages, such as video and picture messaging. When many users first discovered the lack of this feature, there was an outcry because so many people rely on this means of communication to keep their contacts up-to-date on their current activities.
The lack of the capability to send MMS messages may be a major turn off for any prospective iPhone customers. Fortunately there’s a way around this with the iPhone. While you can’t actually send a MMS message you can use the inbuilt e-mail capabilities and still be able to deliver your pictures directly to your friend’s cell phones.
It is extremely easy to do this with your iPhone, and requires very tiny time on your part. What you’ll do is “e-mail” the pics to your recipient; however, the person you are “e-mailing” doesn’t have to have e-mail support on their phone in order to receive your message. The only requirement is your recipient must be able to receive MMS messages. What you’ll do is find the photo you want to send on your iPhone and tap the send photo link, which is located on the bottom left hand side of your iPhone.
To send the MMS message you will need to know the recipient’s phone number and which carrier they are using. The e-mail address would be something like 1112223333@somecarrier.com. If you don’t know which carrier they are using then you will need to ask them. Once you have done that you will be able to send them an many messages as you like and they’ll receive them all as MMS messages.
