Some tips for your eBay Business

I know selling on eBay isn’t as easy it once was. But there are many sellers that are just making too many mistakes nowadays which really isn’t helping the bottom line.

In this article, I’ll cover some tips that can help you make your eBay business flourish.

For starters, take good photos. How many times have you seen a listing with the worst photos? If it wasn’t for the title and the description, you’d have no idea what the item was, just by looking at the photo.

It’s not like you have to take a photography course, either. Just don’t be too cheap you buy yourself a digital camera. Then take the product, and put all white background behind it and take some photos. It’s real simple and it shows that you treat your business professionally.

You also don’t have to write paragraphs when listing your item for sale. Just think, if eBay is like a mall then how do most shoppers act when they are in a mall. Most of the time they just like to look around. They’ll go inside one store and and quickly come out.

It’s not like they like to stay in one place too long. They want to see what everybody is selling. So they keep browsing until they find something they want.

What you’re asking them to do is stay on one listing and read a bunch of paragraphs about your product. Most people will just hit the back button on the browser.

You’ve got to remember that people don’t have the same attention span they once did. Society wants their information quicker and more accessible. This may be a bad thing to many people but it’s simply the reality of the marketplace.

To make it easier on the eyes, I recommend putting all prevalent information about your product in a bullet-style format. For one thing, it’s just a lot faster and easier to read. Shoppers know what you’re product is all about in 5 seconds. The other reason is that people are just used to reading in bullet style.
